Since its inception in 2003, MetroCAF has provided an exciting opportunity for all students in the NYC metropolitan area to gain international exposure for their computer-generated imagery and make contacts within the NYC-area computer graphics community. NYC ACM SIGGRAPH is a non-profit, professional computer graphics organization serving the greater New York City area. NYC ACM SIGGRAPH hosts its NYC Metropolitan Area College Computer Animation Festival annually.

If you attend college in the NYC metropolitan area (Schools are considered to be within the NYC metropolitan area if they are located within a 75-mile radius of Times Square in Manhattan) and have produced computer animation, visualization or visual effects within the course of your studies (that is, you haven't been paid for it), you are cordially invited to submit your work for consideration to NYC ACM SIGGRAPH's MetroCAF.
