The votes are in!

Last Saturday the 2009 MetroCAF jury reviewed all the entries and gave their votes.

This jears jurors (in the photo, left to right):

• Susie Jang (UVPhactory)
• Cesar Kuriyama (Charlex)
• Lucien Harriot (Mechanism Digital) and
• Nadia Husain (Big Star)
• Michelle Barfoot (Mercer County Community College).

The students whos pieces were selected will be notified soon, as will those who unfortunately did not make the cut. One remark from the jurors: the overall quality seems to improve every year!

Above you see the jury getting red-eyed from watching almost four hours of student animations. In the back we see NYC ACM SIGGRAPH board members Scott Lang, Michael Hosenfeld and Terry Nauheim. Nadine Donath, the Pratt Institute graduate student who did a great job putting the juryreel together, managed to stay out of all the pictures taken.
