Jury Awards

During the screening last Thursday, the jury recognition awards were announced

Each member of the Jury could pick an animation for an award. The awards were handed out at the end of the screening last week. It was a successful and well attended screening, about 350 people braved the cold and made it to FITs HAFT Auditoriom. The jury recognition awards were given to:

• "ROUE" by Taili Wu (School of Visual Arts)
  awarded by Michelle Barfoot (Mercer County Community College)
   
• "Divers" by Paris Mavroidis (Pratt Institute)
  awarded by Lucien Harriot (Mechanism Digital)
   
• "SURFACE : A film from underneath" by Varathit Uthaisri (Parsons The New Shool for Design)
  awarded by Nadia Husain (Big Star Productions NYC)
   
• "Scrimshander" by George Smaragdis (Pratt Institute)
  awarded by Susie Jang (UVPhactory) and
   
• "Chicken Cowboy" by Stephen Neary (NYU)
  awarded by Cesar Kuriyama (Charlex)
