It's an exciting opportunity for local students to gain international exposure for their computer-generated imagery and make contacts in the computer-graphics community. If you attend college in the NYC metropolitan area (for the purposes of this competition, your school is part of the metropolitan area if it lies within a 75-mile radius of Times Square in Manhattan) and have produced computer animation, visualization or visual effects in the course of your studies (that is, you haven't been paid for it), you are cordially invited to submit your work for consideration for NYC ACM SIGGRAPH's MetroCAF 2006 (See Eligibility.). |
